Robert A. Skelton
Robert A. Skelton has been a member with the law firm since 1990. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton (B.S., 1987) and the University of Dayton School of Law (J.D., 1990). Robert was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 1990 and is also admitted to practice law in The United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. He is a member and former president of the Coshocton County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Robert’s major practice areas include: personal injury law, civil litigation, family law, probate, estate planning and general practice. He also serves as the City of Coshocton Law Director since 2011.
James R. Skelton
James R. Skelton has been a member with the law firm since 1992. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton (B.S., in Finance 1989) and the University of Dayton School of Law (J.D., 1992). James was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 1992 and is also a member and former president of the Coshocton County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
James’s major practice areas include: real estate, landlord/tenant, debt, collection, probate and estate planning. He also serves serves as the Coshocton City Prosecutor.
Benjamin W. Batchelor
Benjamin W. Batchelor has been an attorney at the law firm since 2025. He is a graduate of the University of Findlay (B.A., 2020) where he was a member of the men’s soccer team, and Capital University Law School (J.D., 2025) where he was a member of the Capital University Law Review. Ben was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2025.
Ben’s major practice areas include: family law, probate and estate planning, civil litigation, and general practice. He also serves as an Assistant Law Director for the City of Coshocton.
